Fluxus movie box

My name is Patrick Coleman, and I am a student  who focuses on mainly graphic design. My work explores the concept of creating a fluxus box, using multiple materials including foam, pain, and leather  to communicate the story of an adventure between a father and his son.

In this project, I aimed to create a game that is non playable but each piece represents an important time in my life with my dad by using chess pieces and a board game board. I was inspired by the Grand Budapest Hotel and the father son story in the movie, which helped shape the overall direction of my work. Through these pieces, I want viewers to think about the the journey and experiences they had with their father when they were growing up.

Overall, my artistic approach is guided by my perseverance, and I strive to create work that that represents the effort put into it.
